A useful program for tagging and viewing xtra mp3 file & tag info in windows explorer. also allows you to change the default icon for mp3 files. id3v2 support.

I have been using this program for quite some time now - I tagged my complete mp3 collection using mp3ext without any problems. It's very flexible, especially the filename scanning feature is great. (Maybe not the easiest to set up but once you got it running it's great.)

Glad that a new version was released, I thought the project was freezed.

Great program overall - I hope that the issue where the program crashed on certain occasions is resolved (will check that out).

looks as if he no longer wishes to work on the project.... i was gonna ask if he can add mpc support with APE tagging

oh... that was what i was going to ask him as well... but since you have already asked him..

does any body know of a simliar program that support APE tagging and MPC as well??

Please tell us if he replies and still plans further working on mp3ext. This bug i mentioned in the post above is still there - but i suppose he doesn't like us to send him a bunch of mail each asking if he's still developing...
