I've got a number of .lqt files encoded using LA AAC codec. I know how to play them but just curious - is it possible to convert these .lqt files into common AAC .mp4 without re-encoding them?
kanuac
is that even possible?

No. Your best bet is decoding the files with the hacked plugin + winamp's diskwriter, and convert to some other format.
