Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for software that is capable of starting when my computer boots, recording from the soundcard into wave format and saving at intervals without user interaction?
I've contemplated using Loop Recorder Pro, however it's quite expensive and I'm not sure if it'll do the job...
I'm intending to use a 1u rack server pc to record club nights, hopefully without needing a monitor or keyboard attached!

Hi. This will record from a soundcard to wav or mp3 but on a scheduler, not just when it boots.
May be of some use.....

Hmm, doesn't seem to like 2k/xp one bit

I use
this now for (automated) recording from my soundcard. The command line options are pretty powerful.
Google for "commandline recording software", "commandline sound recorder" or similar, you'll find e.g. this:
