"Welcome to Your New Home in Cyberspace!

This is a placeholder page installed by the Debian release of the Apache Web server package, because no home page was installed on this host. You may want to replace this as soon as possible with your own web pages, of course.... "

Does anybody know what happens at xiph? rolleyes.gif

The server seems to be completely down now. Can't access any of the sites above.

I'm not sure why their sites are down, but I suspect it's because they're migrating to using SVN for managing the websites as well as their source code.

For all who are wondering why xiph.org (and all its subsites) is down:

The old server is dying. A new server was bought - but itīs power-supply unit is broken and the replacement is still on its way.

(Thatīs information from the last monthly meeting. I donīt have a log, so I hope I remember correctly)

I don't know about all their subdomains, but their SVN repositories are back up now.

BTW, the kind folks at xiph.org have told me that their sites being down has nothing to do with the plan to manage the sites with SVN, so I stand corrected.
