I can easily play a dts/wav or ac3/wav with fb2k. The dts or the ac3 encoded at 44.1 is embedded in the wav (44.1). Thanks to the asio output, the wav is sent bit perfect thru spdif and is decoded on my receiver. Great. rolleyes.gif

I have also dts (.dts) or ac3 (.ac3) encoded at 48 khz. Can’t play it on fb2k. I need to play it on PowerDVD sad.gif . For dts, fb2k cannot open it. For ac3, the ac3 is decode inside fb2k…
I tried kernel streaming but I can’t play with it (no sound)…

If it could be fixed, fb2k would be my player for all my music…

I'm struggling with exactly the same issue.
Found out that Media Player Classic can play .dts and .ac3 files. Hope this helps you. If you have any updates please let us know.

i have DTS ripped from vobs and they play fine in fb2k!
its DTS 754kbps, 6 channel....AND 48khz
until now I haven't see or play 44.1khz DTS before

anyway,
do your DTS have a wave header, it seem to crash if its a wav DTS?????

Do you have a soundcard with s/pdif connected to an external dd/dts receiver?
Does your receiver switch over to DTS decoding when you play your ripped .dts stream via fb2k?

The ripped .dts or .ac3 stream from dvd has no wav header.

To play 44.1 dts wav files (ripped from dts-cd's) you need a soundcard that is capable of 44.1kHz on s/pdif output. And that rules out a lot of soundcards, including (almost?) all Creative cards.
