Is it possible to remove sound or music from flash files? I would like to be able to convert the sound to wave. .swf is the extension.

yup...


yes.. it can be done... in several ways...

1. i belive a app. called flash converter can do this...

2. convert your flash to avi.. and then use avi2wav to ripp it out..

3. i also think it`s possible to save a flash from Dreamveawer/flash
as separate channels(graphic/audio.) thrue a extension plugin..

Thanks n68 for the info. I was unable to find the flash converter though and I do not have Dreamweaver.

If you've got a soundcard like the SB live, you can just record it in a wave editor while it plays.

Total Recorder would most likley be the best solution.

Though Quicktime5 can play SWF files. I know you can seperate audio tracks on Quicktime movies With QT5 Pro, I am not sure about SWF files. (Might work in 4 too)
