Hi,

I thought this would interest some people as Otachan's plug-ins seem to be widely used and discussed by members at HA.

I posted here a few weeks ago about one of Otachan's plug-ins. ASIO for Winamp to be specific.

The reply I got included Otachan's email address. So I figured what the hell, I'd write him. cool.gif

So I did, and he actually wrote back. I assumed other people would have e-mailed him to request an english translation, but apparently no one has. I don't know what exactly his response means, but I thought you guys would want to see it.

Note: My questions are in italics.

No. This is the first time that this request was received.

Probably I am poor at English and it will be difficult, though regrettable.

Although a schedule does not have English translation of a
site, a request and the report of a bug are received by
the English E-mail.

So interpret that as you will. I took him to be saying that an English site is definitely possible, but might be poor quality as his english could use a little work... biggrin.gif

Either way, any sort of english would be more informative than Japanese, which I cannot understand at all.

We'll see.

In Korea, if you say "it's difficult," or "it's going to be difficult," then you're just saying you can't do it, albeit in a polite way.

I'm not sure if I've got this right, but I suspect it's the same in Japan. Korean and Japanese are remarkably similar in some respects, you see.

(And yes, I might be wrong.)
