I'm sure I could tell the difference between some slow-enough-to-decode-lossless and WAV when using my laptop's sound chip, because it has noise patterns that depend on CPU usage.
Oh wait, the ABX tool I wrote takes care of that by decoding first.

I posted a little occupational therapy for the guy to burn time on, in case he actually decides to follow that thread.
