--ath 30 and --ath 31 (Garf's ATH)

Adaptive ATH has different integration times depending on

frequency. This should enhance reverbations after heavy

attacks. The time constant has been reduced for >5.5 kHz,

increased for <2.8 kHz.

Adaptive ATH independent for each channel

Changed:

Stereo Mode for lowest quality settings < --quality 2.99

Okay, first of all, i made a proper sample of 2nd_vent. This one only has the relevant first seconds, and is attenuated by 3 dB (Frank's suggestion):

As i mentioned before, the non-full scale clipping was not it. I ABX'd this sample with 1.05k --standard, 15/16. Again, the thing i listened for is the third HF "pitched keychain dingling"

, starting at 1:02 seconds, ending at about 1.62 seconds. It ends earlier in the MPC.

BTW, a while ago, JohnV confirmed these artifacts for 1.05g --standard (although not with an ABX test) in a chatroom conversation.
