I want to do some audio editing with audacity. Unfortunately, most of my collection is in monkey's audio format. When I try to import, it says that it's reading the mp3 (!) file and the result is crap. Is there any way to get it to read ape files?

Think you're gonna have to convert the ape's to wav first.

Another option (if your budget permits) would be using CoolEdit/Adobe Audition. There's a Monkey's Audio plugin for it.
