It seems these news went unnoticed here, so here it goes:

The author claims faster opening of files. This should come handy for people using iTunes to manage their Ogg collection.

It can also open OGM files now (plays back only the sound part).

Does anyone know how/if it handles multiple audio/video tracks and subtitle tracks?

Also, does it pass the video to the appropriate codec? (e.g. 3ivX)

nope, the ogm support is limited to vorbis streams in ogm

dunno about multiple vorbis streams, but when it comes to things like ac3 or subtitles (srt, ssa) in ogm, i doubt that quicktime will be able such streams
