Hi,

I installed foobar2000 a couple of days ago. I filled my db quite happily with about 10.000 songs. But since yesterday the scan button is disabled.
I run XP with multiple accounts, and the problem is also showing in accounts that haven't been using foobar before.

I thought it was the format of the path or filetypes, so i tried everything there. Tried searching the forums, too. Found nothing.

Anyone had the same problem? How can I re-enable the button and add my new files?

Though it's strange that your scan button is disabled (greyed out?) you can add files to your db by loading them into any playlist in foobar (if the path of your files is specified in your db settings).

edit: did you close and restart foobar?

unbelievable, how simple can a resolution be. Restarting with one user, rebooting for the other. Everything honkidori now.
