I have several hours of talk radio that I converted from a cassette to MP3 on my computer. Is there a program that will allow me to remove the commercials that take place every 15 minutes and allow the talk radio to flow continuosly.
You can edit MP3 files with MP3DirectCut:

in the future, do all of your editing in wav format.
there are a ton of programs to do this, with much more flexability than any mp3 editing software - which is few.
i say decode to wav, edit, encode.
or more appropriately, start from scratch and use a better format like psytel aac or ogg vorbis after editing the wav.

with this task direct editing is fine but yes.....better do your editing before converting.
