I cannot seem to get the date of APE to display. Can someone help me to figure out why they are not showing? I am wanting to have the date displayed along with the artist, album, track number, song name, etc. I don't understand what I am doing wrong here. I added "$get(date)" to the Playlist display preferences and nothing is being shown. I know the APE files have the date tag in them. Help please, thanks.

Adding [%date%] to the playlist config string should do the trick...

WILU, thanks for your help. I tried to do what you suggested, but I don't think I did it correctly. This is what I have tried myself with no luck:

I think I just figured it out!!!! Yeah for me! I was reading the formatting help and stumbled on the $meta command. I tried using $meta(date) and it worked!! I am starting to see why people swear by fb2k so much now. Thanks so much for your help. I don't think I would have found it had you not given me the suggestion.
