You got to see it to believe it:

Monster Sub

10 Hz ? Nice. I can listen to a 10 Hz sine (something like that, maybe less) in a tunnel in town, car engines, or maybe the wind, sometimes make it resonate. It produces such intermodulation on the eardrum that I can only hear the cars in the nearby street 10 times per second biggrin.gif

I couldn't help but notice that, in their listening room, the projector is about 1 foot behind the head of whoever's sitting in the couch's "sweet spot". That must be real nice, to have a high-speed fan whirring like a dentist's drill just inches from your skull... rolleyes.gif
NeoRenegade
Yeah. To have tens of thousands of dollars' worth of hard work disrupted by a fan that's worth pennies.
WarBird
I doubt you can hear the fan when those speakers start pumping out music/sound tongue.gif Maybe during a quiet part of a movie....?
plunger
I imagine they've probably moded it in some way or other, but either way it's interesting you folks noticed that!

he Highest efficiency ever obtained with NO distortion using NO feedback tube low power amplifiers and NO crossover on the speakers

Zero Distortion? I am sure there are thousands of Engineers who would love to get their hands on that circuit diagram.
Architectonical
detokaal - that is not actually a speaker, it just looks like one..

The largest sub I believe, was Richard Clarks 60"er

But have you guys heard of the Adire Audio Parthenon? Depending on the cone used, it has the largest linear displacement of any available subwoofer driver. Depending on the coils used, over 150mm one way linear BL!
