rjamorim
Upload .zip anyway. Probably all Linux distros come with unzip these days.
xmixahlx
included in zip is:

libxmms_mac-0.2.0.tar.gz
mac-3.99-u4-linux.tar.gz
mac.md5

Mr_Rabid_Teddybear
I deleted it.
Newer files are now available from both
http://supermmx.org/linux/mac/
and
http://sourceforge.net/projects/mac-port/
and there are no problem accessing them from the west anymore, so this upload was no longer necessary.

monkeys audio v3.99 (update 4) is at rarewares now

(btw, you didn't need to post the sources again, nothing substantial is different from 0.2.0)

OK. Sorry. I'm not very smart, didn't know whether....

Version 0.2.1 (2004/05/23)
* fixed BUILD_CROSS_PLATFORM not defined problem changed in MAC 3.99 update 4.

...was substantial or not....
Hard to get to that site from the west, so I just uploaded the latest sources since I found them anyways. Uploaded SuperMXX's site along with it to provide some documentation. But if I'm filling valuble diskspace on HA servers to no avail, heck just delete it!
Besides: Proving I'm pretty dumb:

Good job proving it, man smile.gif

You obviously have no clue xmixahlx is in charge of RareWares' venerable Debian repository.

Actually I knew that perfectly well, but I still couldn't find any listing of monkeys-audio 3.99 anywhere?
OK. Figured it out now:
http://www.rarewares.org/debian/packages/u...ate4-1_i386.deb
rjamorim
There's not much point listing debian packages, since apt-get does all the listing based on Packages.gz. The html listing is there mostly as a courtesy to users of that repository.

And an earlier Monkey's Audio is listed there. The new release will also be listed once it leaves "unstable"

As a side note, here's a Gentoo Linux ebuild for MAC 3.99 (command-line) codec:

thanks a lot for this ebuild !

You're welcome smile.gif

Now to include it in the official Portage tree, it would be needed to have a stable URL for mac-3.99-u4-linux.tar.gz. Does somebody know of one ?

Also the official license statement for this source would be nice.
