It would be very nice if there were some more default keyboard shortcuts. Here are some that I always miss in a default install:
J - playlist search (like winamp)
S - playlist sort by display name
H - show current playing song
I - file properties
R - playback random
Maybe we could together come to a better list of default shortcuts? I understand that it's partly a personal choice, but not completly of course.

Perhaps, a better solution would be the ability to easily import/export keyboard shortcuts. You know, in case of a ruined config file.
I don't use a mouse b/c all my ports are used for better (IMHO) periperals on my portable. So I am quite familar with keyboard shortcuts. foobar2000 has some traps for mouseless users.
Try opening the File Info (aka Properties) window with [Ctrl-Q] and shifting focus to another program. When you come back to foobar, the File Info window will be greyed and you will not be able to close it with your keyboard.
If you try this with the File Search window, you'll find it too becomes greyed, but you can regain refocus by pressing [Ctrl-F] again and then you can close with [Alt-F4] or [Alt-Spacebar-C].
Also, moving around in the File Info and File Info/details windows requires repeatedly hitting [Tab]. No [Alt-O] for OK, [Alt-C] for Cancel or hotkeys for moving from field to field.
I'm sure there are workarounds I am unaware of and perhaps these things are actually intentional, by design, but I'd put these at the top of my wish list for keyboard shortcuts.

That's a real problem: each windows program MUST be completely usable without the mouse. That includes foobar.
