I am sorry if this has been posted before. I did search the forum and was not able to find anything.

Is it possible to trim an ogg vorbis encoded file without decoding it to wav first. I have a -q 6 ogg file that I want to chop the last three minutes off of, but I don't want to decode it and then re-encode it so that I suffer more degradation in the file.

The official vorbis-tools package includes vcut, which cuts Ogg Vorbis files sample exact:

Thank you, I was not aware of that. vcut is exactly what I was looking for.

There is also musiCutter.

I can't speak for it personally.
