Mr. Bill
Does anyone know what happen to the Vintage Technics website? (vintagetechnics.com). I use this site alot when researching components, but for the past few days it has been unreachable.

The website disables your IP address after few visits. You can try another computer.
Also when you type in a search engine exactly the features you`r looking for, the search engine letts you view parts of, it just enough.

Although I've never been there before, I also get "Bad Request (Invalid Hostname)".

Hi Sebastian,
So do I. Two possible causes:
1) They had a cable problem in Asia these days (earthquake in Taiwan).
2) You and I are behind firewalls/NAT/whatever and the http server of the website wants an address it can ping back or something like that.

So wait a few days and/or try a computer directly on the Net.

The original problem was posted in 2004. Perhaps it's gone for good? biggrin.gif

hmmm, I think I visited the site last year, because my ST-9030 Tuner seems to have a damaged varactor diode.

I know this is kind of late to reply to this, but I just ran across this to-day. If one has a website that is no longer there, you can go to "www.archive.org" and access sites from the past. The vintagetechnics site is still there.
