I've seen references here to another forum called avs or avsguide. I tried www.avsguide.com, but believe me, that's not an audio/visual forum.
Can someone help me out with a link?

avs is the short form for avisynth, which is a frame server (well maybe one of the most powerful ones existing and opensource)

well, that's the extension, i dunno if that's what it goes by. my first thought was that it had to do with the Winamp Advanced Visualization Studio...
