Do you want a free program + Gracenote CDDB ?

I think that freedb is the answer to your problem as long as you can convince yourself about that. tongue.gif

I could not get Winamp to lookup the info on existing mp3 files. I could find no options or preferences regarding Winamps CDDB capability. If I insert a CD into my CD drive, it just does it automatically.
If no one on this forum has any suggestions, you might try the Gracenote website. They have links to several taggers. Some are free, some are shareware, some are commercial. Several have trial versions you can download. Let us know if you find one that you like.

Yes, there is a huge list... I have read it, I cannot judje however, whether it is the application I need, or not...
I'm thinking about converting the APE albums I didn't find in freedb to mp3, and then to take tags from mp3 to ape files.
I don't know, however, even the application that tag just files, mp3s, for instance, from CDDB... All I know gets the information for CDs only... sad.gif
