Hi,

Latelly i've been playing around with my tv card, and making some real-time tv encodings using VirtualDub. To get the best possible quality, I capture uncompressed frames, but as you certainly know, that requires a huge disk space.
So i was wondering, is there a good free lossless video codec, not very cpu-demanding so I can rip in real-time?
I found Alparysoft Lossless Video Codec in google. But that's not free, and it won't show up in VirtualDub's "Compression" list in Capture Mode, so i can't really capture anything with it, just encode later.

Huffyuv is the most popular lossless codec, it's the fastest, although it might have the worst compression ratio. VBLE is another choice, it has better compression ratio, and still quite fast, but some users experienced problems with it (not me though smile.gif).

Thanks smile.gif
Huffyuv is exactly what I was looking for.
