is it possible to use plextools v2.15 to extract a wav of the complete cd as a single file with it's associated cuesheet, as with eac's "copy image and create cuesheet"?

I use the following procedure on problematic CD's that EAC won't read properly (Plextools along with a Plex Premium can really save the day biggrin.gif ):

Use EAC for FreeDB access and track name correction and gap detection. Then I start to create an image & cuesheet and quit directly after the read process has started.

After doing so, I fire up Plextools' DAE mode, select all tracks (include and check pause selected) and rip to a single file that matches the exact wav file's name in the cuesheet.

After ripping, I use EAC again to burn the CD.

This won't be correct if Index 0 of track 1 is greater han 2 sec.

That is correct.

However, it is still possible to use this procedure without modifying the CUE sheet created by EAC. To do so, open up the cuesheet created by EAC. Suppose the first track markers might look like this:

INDEX 00 00:00:00
INDEX 01 00:00:32

In this case, your WAVE file created with Plextools will be missing 32 frames at the beginning. You can use the "process WAVE" command in EAC and insert the appropriate amount of silence at the beginning of the file. EAC requires the length in samples, so in this example you would insert 588 * 32 = 18816 samples. This of course assumes that the first pregap does not contain any music, which is normally the case.

There is also no need to begin the ripping process with EAC. You can generate the same cuesheet in EAC by Action -> Create CUE Sheet -> Single WAVE.
