hi.

i've got a broken mp3 and i'm trying to fix it with Wap VBRFix (nice tool anyway), but suddenly i got "change in mpeg version found at frame ..." message and it stops.

of course i can turn it off, but should i?
in read-me.txt i found that it's just "not allowed". sure, but what now? should i fix it or not? if yes - why VBRFix is set up to stop at this error by default?
and finally - what does the error mean? mpeg layer change in one file?

i know - lot's of questions... rolleyes.gif

thnx.

I suggest you fix it, because it sounds pretty bad. Just make a backup of the original file first.

It probably means there is a change from MPEG 1 to MPEG 2 in the file.
