but thats too vague, i have read it and i dont know where specifically talks about converting from MPC to WAV. That post you recommended me without any directions implies me a very long reading and i only need to know this part.

if you could be more precise i would appreciate it.

How bout this:

Decoding switches / MPC to WAV (i.e. with the MPC Batch Encoder frontend + mppdec.exe):

For albums: --gain 1 --prev
(or --gain 3 --prev)
For compilations: --gain 0 --prev
(or --gain 2 --prev)

*from the first post (sticky) in the geneal mpc forum.

there are essentially 3 ways to decode an mpc file:
mpcdec (the commandline decoder)
a frontend to mpcdec (speek's frontends, etc)
musepack decoder library code (various media player plugins)

they all decode with the same quality.

if you are into foobar2000 (win32) i'd use that for the kitchen sink, etc.
if you don't, then try speek's frontend. (or CLI, i gather yer not the CLI type tho)

later
smok3
get musepack decoder (mppdec)
http://rarewares.org/mpc.html
(drop that somewhere on the system path, or some other place if you will use it with the musedrop)

cli to the correct mpc dir, where your mpc files are stored, then something like (in
win32):

mppdec *mpc .

should do the trick. (use scale on clips that get clipped after the process, the decoder will tell you which are like that.)

-------------------------------

simple gui way is to use musedrop thingy as a gui to the mppdec (get it from the same page).
