Hi.

For a number of reasons I keep most of my MP3s and OGGs offline on CDs. It would be nice if Foobar could tell me what CD to stick in my drive when I pick tracks from the database that are offline.

Is there anyway Foobar can do this or does it require a development?

As far as I know foobar can't do this it would require a plugin dry.gif

Would be a very cool plugin *hint hint*

The SDK is freely available to everyone *hint hint*

Suggestion: put the cd number in some tag.

For already burned files you can keep the tag in the db.

Thanks for the suggestions. I was wondering if there was anyway I could edit the location record in the database for each track?

I'm like blammo, I would need a Media Library which keep track of CD content along with the CD volume name…
I tried to add E:\ in my Media Library (E: being my CD drive) but each time I press rescan, it erases everything and remains only the files of the current CD.
Moreover, the CD volume name isn't stored so there is no way to find back which CD matches which tune…

Jan S. : What / Where is the Database ? (sorry)
