Hello there, simple question, i'm currently running on windows, if i buy a iPod for PC and i buy a powerbook later, will my iPod will work on my new powerbook as it work on my pc ?

iPods can be formatted to either PC (FAT) or Mac (HFS). Windows can only access iPods formatted to FAT, as windows doesn't understand the HFS file system, while Macs can work with either FAT or HFS.

So the short answer to your question is, yes, if you use an iPod with you PC and format it to FAT you will be able to use it later with a powerbook with no loss of data.
