Hello all.

I'm a complete newb to Foobar2000. I just found the playlist formatting website and downloaded a format (?). The problem, I use Plextools Pro to rip my waves and then I convert them to FLAC and ogg. In Plextools there is no way to specify various artists for my 300 mix cd's. After I rip to them wave is there anyway quicker, other than manually renaming them each, to get them to be recognized as various artists by my playlist formatting?

I'd like to be able to edit the tags so that they can be ogg and FLAC compatible.

I'm currently running XP Pro with a 3.2 HT, 1gb of Dual Channel DDR, 240g HD (3 drives), Plex 708A and PX-40TSi, Lite-On LTR40125S, Adaptec AHA-2930 SCSI adapter, Nvidia 5600XT, Intel 865GBF.

Thanks!

Depends on your formatting string. For most strings adding a tag called VARIOUS (any value) or ALBUM ARTIST (name of mixer/composer/whatever) works.
