Hi,

perhaps you could help me!? I often get live Songs in mp3-format and want to make it to an real audio-cd without any gaps at all. I found foobar software by surfing the net and coming to this description: http://www.chrismyden.com/nuke/article.php?sid=194

At the moment I tried using foobar2000 v0.8.1_special and v0.8.2_special the way it is described on the page. I downloaded and installed the different version of the *.dll file (foo_burninate.dll) but I can't hear a difference having it installed or not when creating a cd. I didn't change the settings of the program because I am not sure about the funktions that much. It works out fine, but there are still little gaps between the songs or lets better say a little clicking before the next song starts.

Is there another or more perfect way of getting live CDs from mp3 files without any gaps or clicking at all!?

It would be great if someone who had the same problem could help me with my problem!?

Thanks,
Harald.

He links directly to the official foo_burninate archive. He does not imply that it is any different from the stock version, merely that it is different from the defaults configured in many dedicated CD recording applications, including Nero.

give Burrrn a try.

Is it not just to burn the disc using disc-at-once instead of track-at-once? I can't remember doing anything else when toasting live-albums. Not sure though...

When I burned down a few Hoobastank CD's, there were no gaps. Try using dsp when burning and activate gap killer dsp.

*EDIT*

These were vorbis files, but converted from mp3, so there should be a gap......but it isn't...

Using Nero you can change the delay between tracks. There are still different tracks on the CD - jus no physical noise gap between them
