This is the parameters I use.
-ultra %s %d

Starts encoding file like everthing's fine, then throw's this error message at the end.

INFO (foo_clienc) : CLI encoder: D:\ape\aacenc.exe
INFO (foo_clienc) : Destination file: file://C:\Alanis Morissette - Ironic.aac
INFO (foo_clienc) : Source file: file://C:\Alanis Morissette - Ironic.wav
INFO (foo_clienc) : 44100Hz 16bps 2ch
ERROR (foo_clienc) : Encoding failed

Any ideas. Thanks.

Try this:
-ultra -if %s -of %d
