I want words like "in" "the" "and" to be lower case in filename and in playlist. If i have a .flac file that has lowercased "and" in the file and tag, and I edit the tag and change the track number, it renames the file and starts all words with capital letters. THIS SUCKS!!

I'm pretty sure you went into the file renamer tool, which not surprisingly renames files. try the masstagger instead.

i just right-clicked on it and went to "Properties" (file info). I clicked on EDIT for METADATA. Why is it renaming the file?
Masstagger is alot more work for just single song renaming.
Is it specific to FLAC ?
This happened for me as well not so long ago... was driving me insane! I have a sneaking suspiscion that it is Windows for some reason though...
