I just upgraded from special v.8.2 to v.8.3. I usually have the system tray icon hidden until I minimize the foobar2k window. At this point the system tray icon reappears. However, with the new version, the icon is always there regardless of the option selected in the preferences - to my understanding at least.
Does anyone else notice this? Just curious. I really hate having too many system tray icons so I would appriciate some help.

You don't happen to use columns UI? The default UI and columns UI have separate options for this (and like you would guess, default UIs option affects when using the default ui and columns option then using columns UI)
