I was just wondering if LAME would/could imbed the commandline used to make the mp3 into the mp3, like as in mpc.

Maybe like the preset used and what the preset equals to in swtiches or if no preset was used just the switches.

I think it should have been Implemented ages ago, it would save alot of confusion.

(or has it and foobar is not showing me it)

You can do this yourself, using the comment field in ID3. For example:

CODE
lame --preset standard --tc "--preset standard" someaudio.wav
Gabriel
Preset used is already stored into Lame tag

i know what you mean, but using an id3 tag allows anybody to change the field to what they want

ahh ok, i wonder if these settings could be shown in Foobar someway, looks it's time to jump into the foobar forum and ask some questions.
