Hi,

i'm new to foobar and i downloaded some skins. They mainly have the endings .ski or .plg ... so where to put those files in? Where in the foobar folder exactly? I tried to put them into the main folder and tried to put them into the components folder ... but no reactions. And where can i choose the skin in the foobar tool? I can't find any "skins" options in the preferences.

There are no topics about skin placement or something special for extremely newbies. And at the main foobar site, in the "faqs", there are no hints, where to put skin files in and how to use them exactly. I'm into that comp stuff for 10 years or so, but foobar drives me crazy!

Help would be great and cool.

Cu

Try creating a new folder inside the foo_looks folder:
C:\Archivos de programa\foobar2000\components\foo_looks

EX. for aeroamp
C:\Archivos de programa\foobar2000\components\foo_looks\AeroAmp

And put the files inside.

To choose a skin go to preferences>Looks

Hope it helps.

The FAQ on foobar2000.org/.com only covers foobar2000 itself and official components, but not third party components like foo_looks, which you need to use those skins.
