i'm looking for other visualisations that don't need a new window but work with the default vis. window(!).

are there any?

i'm looking for a peak meter, VU meter etc
(i know there is a VU meter but it needs an extra window)

What you would like is virtually impossible with the existing plugins. But it should be possible to create a modification for the default vis to do what you wish for - the question is if anyone wants to code it.

if i only could program...
