I created some files for filesize comparision with OGG Vorbis <CBR> in 256kbit
the filesize of the 256VBR file is between 128 quality mode and 160 quality mode and the quality is really bad (like 128 xing)

how come ?
I mean, I won't use it anyway but I wonder why OGG Drop doesn't create 256kbit CBR if I select 256CBR... and winamp also doesn'T show me a 256kbit fixed bitrate but something VBR like???

Well, you managed to do something wrong, but your complaint is short on details. For a starter:

Which OggDrop? About fifty people seem to have named their encoder OggDrop... Mac? Win? What *version*? Why are you forcing CBR? CBR is broken in some old ones, and Ogg always does better when allowed to use VBR.

Because it knows that you don't want to do that.

Don't even try. It's pointless.
