I recentlly installed EAC (Exact Audio Copy) on my Windows PC, as well as a 'Lame.exe' file in the EAC Directory.

I believe I copied the "Lame.exe" file (version 3.903) into the EAC Directory, but not 100% sure now. Is there any way to check which version it is?

I checked the properties of the "Lame.exe" file and it does not list a version number. In addition, I couldn't get EAC, or Razorlame (Lame Front End utility program) to pull up this information either. How can I find out (for sure) which version of "Lame.exe" is in my EAC Directory folder?

Thanks in advance,

Open up the commandline, change the current folder to the one where lame is, and type: lame. You'll see the version number in the first line.

Open a "command prompt" and cd to the EAC directory. Then run "lame.exe" and it will show you the version along with a short version of help on commandline options.
