Somebody i know is selling an original Pogo Ripflash and pre-amped microphone (to use with the line in port) for a good price, and i'm thinking of getting it for quick recordings of myself playing music, or tunes i want to learn, etc. I'm thinking it's a good portable setup.

But i haven't used one of these, and i'd like to know if you have any opinions on the usability, especially for recording, and the quality of the MP3 encoding.
