Is there any program that will get rid of the silence before and after the song? I am using Audiograbber to rip (I know, everyone recommends EAC, but I still like AG) and have it set to automatically delete silence. However, it doesn't seem to be doing a good job for the end of the songs.

I have downloaded MP3 trim and tried that, and while it got rid of a little bit, it still wasn't great. I even tried putting it on the highest aggressive mode there is, but it still would leave a second or two of silence.

Any suggestions other than opening Cool Edit or something similar and going song-by-song and editing?

You could try dBpowerAMP Music Converter and the Power Pack - there is a DSP effect that can trim silence.

Thanks...any other suggestions?

Have you tried WavTrim? It's a great alternative to EAC's "delete leading and trailing silent blocks" option.

Rip them to WAVs & edit them in SoundForge biggrin.gif
perhaps that's to messy?
do you want to erase both the digital and the analog silence?

Rip in EAC without gaps, and combine that with the removing silence in beginning & end of tracks feature.
