You have several plugins (looks) that display cover art, but it must be in the folder (not tagged in the file or downloaded from the net) of the file that's playing.

I use this one, it grabs the covers from the Amazon site. Good luck.

Samurize has been floated around here a few times - I use that for automatically downloading album art.

Just download samurize and there is an example config with album cover. You just have to modify it to suit your needs

This prog is working on folders structure , NOT tags
You need to have Artist/Album folders.

great hint... this is exactely what I was looking for...
and it does automaticely load from the web the covers with media-screensaver albuminfo ini
