Hi,

I have just been playing with OGGDropXP and think it is great however could you add support so we can rip stright from CD? EG adding it so users can just track the .CDA files from the CD into OGGDropXP and it will encode them?

It would be a great option as it is a little annoying to have to rip to WAV first and then encode to OGG. Still a great program, well done smile.gif

Yeah, let's quickly fiddle a CD ripper in there... :gah:

Seriously though, better set up EAC with secure ripping and OggEnc.

There are so many advantages using EAC for ripping there's no use writing them all down.
Download EAC and set it up with OGGEnc

@ditoa:

If you were to use the alternate cdfs, available here: http://www.inf.ufpr.br/~rja00/files/cdfs.zip , that would effectively do the job, but I would recommend EAC too. Direct CD ripping in oggdropXPd will never happen.

Or you can use CDex, instead of EAC.

But keep in mind it works for Win9x/Me only!
