Hi

I was looking at the Creative PS2000 speakers for my computer. What I like in them is:

- Stereo sound in a compact, one-piece design
- Optical SPDIF input with included cable, so the standard minijack of the Transit is free for other use
- Sound quality (?)

My problem is that they don't seem to be much available anymore. I don't think I can have a chance to test them in the UK.

Do you know and recommend them? What alternative products are there on the market with similar features?

Note that I am not interested in a 5-piece design. Thanks!

you mean the FPS 2000s? I'm listening to a pair right now.

Thinking of upgrading though to be honest, as doom3 won't do surround on 4.1s sad.gif

Want em?
I'm in Canada, so there would be some shipping involved.

No, they are the PS2000. They look like that:

I am still nervous about buying 4-year old speakers that were discontinued... Do they still sound good as compared to today offerings?

I am looking for a compact system (no more than 3 pieces), with either optical line in or analog line out, providing a reasonably good sound quality for £50 ($90). I am not a gamer.

What models would you recommend?
Bonus points if the speakers are self-powered wink.gif
