Dear forum,

I just try to transcode the 5.1 AC3 file into 5.1 Ogg Vorbis using
BeSweet with OggMachine v0.5 (Dspguru)... and succesful.

The problem is the playback....

When I try to play the result use WinAmp with the latest in_vorbis plugin
v1.2, the sound is not heard correctly, the center sound is moved to the
front right speaker, so... is that in_vorbis plugin bugs ? or BeSweet bugs ?

in_vorbis plugin bug ?.... hmmm I don't think so...
I just use OggDropd and the result is same the center channel is moved to
the front right speaker. So it's not in_vorbis plugin bug.

BeSweet bugs ?? hmm... I don't know....
Hope someone have the same experience with me and share here...

PS. My soundcard is SB Audigy and the speaker is SB 5300.

Thank you.

Don't take this for true, but I believe I read that this is a problem of the output plugins of winamp (or just the way the output is done in winamp, not sure).

You'll have to use a DirectShow based player (Wmp6.4), with Tobias filters (http://tobias.everwicked.com) to play it correctly.

@BlackSun,

are you sure... ? at least have already tried it ?

'cause some people said there is still channel mapping problem in the
Tobias's OggDS.
