put nencode.exe in the same directory

no need to install nero, just extract the .dll from the installation files with winrar (Aac.dll, aacenc32.dll, NeroIPP.dll, Wav.dll) and put them in the same directory as nencode.exe and NencodeGUI.exe

need to be put in the same directory as nencode.exe
require VB6 runtime and FM20.DLL

Seems it demands french VB6 Runtime:
QUOTE
The language file 'VB6FR.DLL' could not be found.

I have the english VB6 runtime package (VBRun60sp5.exe) installed from before. Well I download VB6FR.DLL from here and add it to System32, and then:
QUOTE
Le composant 'FM20.DLL' ou une de ses dépendances n'est pas correctement enregistré: un fichier est absent ou incorrect.

Yes, ok I get hold of FM20.dll too, and add it to System32. Then I get:
QUOTE
Erreur système &H8007007E (-2147024770).

(A bit later.) OK. Now I downloaded fm2paste.exe from here and ran it. It installs FM20.DLL (newer version this time) and FM20ENU.DLL to my System32 directory. Now NencodeGUI works.

Isn't all this a bit diffcult, really? There also already are a GUI from on Rarewares, EziiiEncode.
But, well... It does work now wink.gif

EDIT: Typo.

EDIT 2: Seems the problem with FM20.DLL is due to the fact that I never bothered installing that stupid MS Office. If you have this you'll probably avoid that problem. The problem with VB6FR.DLL I don't know. You'll maybe still need that one. (Ordinary VB6 runtime here BTW.)

Also I think nencode.exe itself has dependencies on three (?) other MS libraries. But this have been discussed in other threads I think.... try search.
Whether Nero's aacmp32.dll is no longer needed I don't know. It's not mentioned above.

i think these files are : mfc71.dll, msvcp71.dll, msvcr71.dll
but they are already in my system32 folder (maybe because of others programs i have installed)
