Before upgrading, this forum had two links to view new posts, one that showed all new posts related to foobar and another to the rest.

I used this two links a lot, so I could discard endless postings about foobar when I want to read about audio, and viceversa wink.gif

Are they still available?

Thanks

I guess it was a difficult question...

I don't think it's still possible. AFAIK, only active topics are divided into 4 categories.

I think this link shows new posts in foobar forums.

If it works, it's very easy to make custom new-posts searches. Its just the forum number at the end.

removing the "&lastdate=259200" part gives different results, and changes the title from "Active Topics" to "Posts since your last visit".

I found that link at the foobar forum, the "More . . ." link

Notice how the portal uses that system to exclude a list of forum numbers, for the Active Topics link.

sorry, I didn't understand. Are you explaining what removing the "&lastdate=259200" does? can you re-phrase? huh.gif

I am explaining that if you specify compliment (sic) value of 1, the forums list becomes a list of forums to exclude from display. The lastdate parameter is in seconds.

See the "Active Topics" link on the portal, as well as the code behind the mini forum jump menu. (Audio Topics, Video Topics, OT & Music, FB2k Topics.)
