Thanks!

But I still think Chastity has the hottest one on the forum, along with JEN's new one. Nothing sexier than a gorgeous woman packing heat (although JEN's is unarmed).

This one is Xenia Seeberg, from the now defunct TV series "LEXX". I've actually got several images of her that I've reduced to avatar size, which I was going to slowly cycle through. (I also collect autographed pics of her. wink.gif ) As for the "black bars", the reason was that the only version of this pic I had at first was a narrow one, then I found this more complete one and switched it. Nice that it had an unexpected effect, though!

Now Playing...

Pale Blue Eyes ~ Hole ~ Ask For It (EP) (1995)

A lesser known live set, but with poor acoustics. It's in Vorbis -q 5, but Courtney's voice sounds like it is done in 32kbps...watery and metallic, and like she's standing way too far back from the mic, which has an odd effect because the instruments sound OK. Overall a good album, but singing Doll Parts she sounds totally unenthused, like she'd rather be anywhere else. Then again, Courtney Love's not known for her cheery demeanor. unsure.gif

I like that feature! I feel like a luddite typing mine in manually. I'm pretty sure I've seen a plug-in for W/A that does something like that, but I'm too lazy to go get it. tongue.gif

Now Playing...

Greece 2000 (Original Mix) ~ Three Drives On A Vinyl (Mixed By Paul Oakenfold) ~ Tranceport (1998)

My first exposure to Oakenfold. I like it, but I'm not sure it's "eccentric" enough for me compared to The Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim, etc. Sounds a little too "generic house" on first listen of most tracks...in my range of taste I think I'd consider it "ambient trance", which is cool too. Holding everything up to Surrender is a tough measure, though.

Fantasize ~ Liz Phair ~ whitechocolatespaceegg (1998)

This album sounds almost as raw and innovative as Exile In Guyville...hard to believe they're five years apart.

[BTW...can't wait for Liz Phair's Girlysounds demo and whitechocolatespaceegg demo collections that I just bought to arrive next week. I've been looking for a copy of these bootlegs for anything less than $50-$75 for weeks now. I found them together (4 CDs) for $35! Many people ask $40 just for Juvenilia, a one disc EP with only a few of the 34 songs from Girlysounds.]

<Special MachineHead Dedication>

To the most generous garbage truck driver who pulled out in front of me, and then gave me a brake check when I peeked around you. Nice that you merge with 60mph traffic at 25mph. Did you feel like a real man? Did you feel like peeing your pants when I got around you 30 seconds later and returned the favor? I truly didn't know a garbage truck could almost fishtail like yours did.

Well, knowing that you certainly are not intelligent enough to know what music compression is, <smarmy> eight track of Herb Albert blaring in your ear and all </smarmy>, I feel a bit disappointed that you will never see this.

At any rate, here is a special playlist just for you. $#!+head.
