Pretty much, yeah. TRIPtych is their best album by far. The latest stuff just sucks as does most of their older stuff. 'Course, it can't hurt that I have many a flashback while listening to it. smile.gif There's something about the way some music just sorta fits into certain stages of your life...and can resurrect the way you felt at that moment of time.

Music can be quite enlightening. B)

Strange Fruit - No White Clouds (from 'strange days soundtrack')
Green grass grows on the ground as I expound above the sound,
look around, now sit down and listen
Dark brown shades drown in the raise of rock,
close your eyes and still see the yellow sun
Feel the earth beneath your feet reaching to meet the sea,
the sky, and I fly higher
Above the ground, beneath the sound that's going
round and round and round and colors flowing down

No white clouds in my blue sky

Simple Minds - Don't You (Forget About Me).mpc

Hehe, it's part of my radio archives, that I backuped recently on CDR :

It should have been in Radio 1 : 1981-1988, but I forgot it.

Anyone have an idea about who can be the author of track 8 (1987) ?

2 The Stranglers - Strange little girl
3 Nick Kershaw - The riddle
4 Limahl - Neverending story - club mix
5 Madonna - La Isla Bonita
6 Unknown disco medley

8 ??? ("Hey, Mathiew, what do you see ?")
9 Jean-Pierre Mader - Détournement de majeur
10 Madonna - The look of love
11 Luna Parker - Tes états d'âme, Eric
12 The Stranglers - Golden Brown
13 ??? - "Apprendre et tout oublier"

it isn't "Hey, Mathiew, what do you see ?"

it's "hey, matthew" by karel fialka...

or it could be something entirely different... dunno...

Yeees ! That's it, the lyrics found on the internet match the song smile.gif

Thanks...

Now that we are on it, there's another song from those days I'd like to know who it is, but the only words I understand are "in the shadows" biggrin.gif

I'll maybe upload a sample when I have the time...

Porcupine Tree - Last Chance To Evacuate Planet Earth Before It Is Recycled

If you fall asleep with me
You can dream and drowse
The minutes turn to hours

We could climb a tree or two
And watch the sun go down
Upon our sleepy town

After all the time I spent with you
Summer went away
And we just weren't the same

It's just you and me alone
Not grown ups but not kids
You kissed me on the lips[SIZE=1]
