So I resurrected this beast....

I think you guys should know what a dramatic impact these OT threads are having on my life. Right this moment, there is a Tool show going on 5 minutes from my place, and though a Tool track has never passed my ears, I'm feeling strangely guilty that I'm not there to see Danny Carey (apparently one of the greatest drummers ever).

I can only console myself by listening to my latest acquisition:

Aphex Twin - Richard D. James Album - 06 - To Cure A Weakling Child

Am I ready for Shpongle - Are You Shpongled?

hehe, i'm not only into live music (100+ pure bootlegs), i'm into +Live+ (the band) music as well laugh.gif anyway.

ya, i know about Furthur. after listening to insane (I mean it!) amounts of dmb (albums and shows) i'm just starting to get into jam bands, Furtur and the etree part of archive.org are certainly helpful there.. sadly i am completely clueless as to which WSP/SCI/Phish/YMSB etc. shows i should acquire to get a nice impression of these bands, so i certainly wouldn't mind getting some pointers wink.gif (HINT HINT)

(seeing the source info of your show, this reminds me - i have a Radiohead show which was recorded using a neumann km170 (iirc), DAMN impressive.. i never thought such quality would be possible for a DAUD)
