I'm listening to it, too! Altough I'm listening from the TV where I'm playing my old VHS of their un-unplugged.
I went to see Cerati yesterday...Awesome! But I think I'm getting old because I really wanted him to play some more oldies (just 2 or 3 more).
My ears are ringing so bad...

Just my respectful opinion:
I think that Shakira having her ex-prez son boyfriend in her video for "Que me quedes tu" is kinda offensive. The combination of the lyrics of the song (which basically say: "everything can go to hell as long as I still have you") and the appearence of the guy just do not sit well to me considering how badly people are doing in Argentina. ¿Me entiendes?

grbmusic: I´m finishing my travel through the south of Chile. By far, the best thing up to now was the Osorno Volcano:
user posted image. It´s one of the most beutiful things I´ve ever saw.

Aside that, I navigated through some of the world-famous chilean lakes and did lots of trekking.

Next week, I´ll go to the north to visit the Atacama desert, flamingos, Llamas and more volcanos. smile.gif

I´ll try to provide a nice report when I´m back to Brazil.

See you. Regards;

Roberto.

love over gold: telegraph road / private investigations
alchemy (live): going home
brothers in arms: your latest trick / why worry / ride across the river / brothers in arms
on every street: fade to black / you and your friend / ticket to heaven / how long
on the night (live): calling elvis (extra large)

Do you have a lot of pics like the one here? If so, I'd like to ask you a favor and read this thread in another forum.

The Other Forum

Mainly because there might be quite a few people interested in your trip, and images.

Magnificent pic btw. wink.gif

Edit: Spelling, and should point out the last post.

Haha, I already took 8 films of 36 shots. And I didn't even got to halfway of my trip! smile.gif

(Not to mention the hundreds of photos I took in China 2 years ago)

Of the Osorno alone I took far more than 10, from all angles and points of view - I simply didn't get tired of seeing it.

BTW: That picture I linked here isn't mine - I just used it so that you can have an idea of what I saw. smile.gif

Now, do I need MJB to use this service? Hilleglass didn't specify the instructions to upload the pics, and I don't have MJB (It's one of the few software I respect enough not to be willing to pirate it).

When I return to Brazil (April 3rd), I will select the best pics and scan them. Then, I will be able to upload - and, if MJB is needed, maybe you can do that for me. wink.gif

Hrm... dunno. I still prefer the studio version. But the PULSE version is great to. (Actually, I prefer the PULSE version of Learning to Fly rather than the studio one)

Yeah, MC is sort of required.

If you prefer not to do it yourself (READ:not install MC) that would be fine. I could, and indeed would, upload them. biggrin.gif

Thanks for considering this. Looking forward to April. wink.gif

Looking over the recent spate of Pink Floyd submissions to this thread prompted me to dig out a few relics (no pun intended) from my own collection. Tonight's playlist is as follows:

syd barrett's monophonic pink floyd

(disc 1...)
Soundtrack to Tonite Let's All Make Love in London, recorded January 11-12, 1967

[*] Interstellar Overdrive

[*] Nick's Boogie
"Arnold Layne" UK single, released March 11, 1967; Columbia DB 8156

[*] Arnold Layne

[*] Candy and a Currant Bun
"See Emily Play" UK single, released June 16, 1967; Columbia DB 8214

[*] See Emily Play
The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, released August 5, 1967; Columbia SX 6157

[*] Astronomy Domine

[*] Lucifer Sam

[*] Matilda Mother

[*] Flaming

[*] Pow R. Toc H.

[*] Take Up Thy Stethoscope and Walk

[*] Interstellar Overdrive

[*] The Gnome

[*] Chapter 24

[*] Scarecrow

[*] Bike

(disc 2...)
Unreleased "Scream Thy Last Scream" single, recorded August 7-8, 1967 and September 5-6, 1967

[*] Scream Thy Last Scream

[*] Vegetable Man
"Apples and Oranges" UK single, released November 18, 1967; Columbia DB 8310

[*] Apples and Oranges

[*] Paintbox
"It Would Be So Nice" UK single, released April 12, 1968; Columbia DB 8401

[*] It Would Be So Nice

[*] Julia Dream
A Saucerful of Secrets, released June 21, 1968; Columbia SX 6258

[*] Let There Be More Light

[*] Remember a Day

[*] Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun

[*] Corporal Clegg

[*] A Saucerful of Secrets

[*] See-Saw

[*] Jugband Blues
"Point Me at the Sky" UK single, released December 17, 1968; Columbia DB 8511

[*] Point Me at the Sky

[*] Careful with That Axe, Eugene

Yes, these really are the monophonic versions, and they offer a very different listening experience from their more familiar stereo counterparts. Took me a while to track down a decent mono copy of Saucerful, longer to clean it up, and longer still to finish new artwork for the entire set... but the results were most satisfying. Next up is the Zabriskie Point songtrack (a-la the Beatles' Yellow Submarine songtrack) - in other words, ZP as the album it should have been:

Zabriskie Point: Songtrack

[*] Crumbling Land (soundtrack version)

[*] Country Song theme (alternate "humming" version)

[*] Come In Number 51, Your Time Is Up (soundtrack version)

[*] Love Scene 4 (soundtrack version)

[*] Heart Beat, Pig Meat (soundtrack version)

[*] Country Song instrumental theme (harpsichord version)

[*] Country Song (soundtrack version)

[*] Unknown Song (a.k.a Rain in the Country) (soundtrack version)

[*] Fingal's Cave (only extant take)

[*] The Violent Sequence (only extant take)

[*] Rock Instrumental / Crumbling Land reprise (film versions)

[*] Oneone (extended mix)

[*] Love Scene 6 (Blues) (soundtrack version)

... which makes for about an hour's worth of music. One of Pink Floyd's best unreleased albums. Wish I could take credit for the idea on this one; it was originally suggested by a guy on the LaughingMadcaps list.

Could you compress down your sig some? Maybe use a smaller font or something.

Also, I don't really see the need for a big font for a link in your sig. Try using other forms of emphasis if you feel that it's still needed, but methods that don't increase the size of the sig so much.

Thanks smile.gif
