Listening to "Boston - Don't look back.mpc" a classic B)
Pio2001
When I started to read the post, it was Frolic - So True. A beatiful track recorded on axioms.org (128 kbps Shoutcast). I ordered the CD.
Now it is Oliver Lieb - Spice Diving. Recorded on the same Shoutcast... I made a CD of these recordings biggrin.gif
I couldn't find anything about this Spice Diving from Oliver Lieb... It is an artist who was in the EyeQ team in the early 90'. Would this track be in the Recycle Or Dye CD called "Constellation" ?
I only have the Silk compilation from recycle or dye... I could only find one other CD of this label... did they release 500 ex each or what ??

Now that I'm finishing writing, it's a trance title that I don't know, recorded on the Digitally-imported radio shoutcast.

Erm, I listen to a variety of disturbing monotonous drivel, notably Happy Hardcore at times! Currently I'm listening to Fade + Kelly - Beautiful

(Err! Realmedia link!)

On a mix by DJ Robbie Long (Hardcore 2001):

Notably good tracks on that mix, goto 14m:00s and 34:00.

Swans - Love will tear us apart (Joy Division cover of course)

If you are into bands like Joy Division and Swans, try listening to the brand new Interpol album.

Also check out this cover: 16 Horsepower - Day of the Lords (Joy Division)

Space Monkeyz vs Gorillaz (2002) Laika Come Home. mp3 aps.

A fine dub/ska remix of the original Gorillaz album, and one of the finest albums I've heard this year (my neighbours hate it though).

Depeche Mode - In Your Room (Remix, Singles 86>98 version)

To be followed by

DM - It's No Good

What I listen to right now (not right this moment, but you get the idea).

Coldplay - A Rush Of Blood To The Head.

Just bought the CD even though I was broke biggrin.gif.

But I just got a kickass job last friday B). Woohoo!

Other albums/artists I often listen to:

A Perfect Circle - Mer De Noms

Hybrid - Wide Angle

Jamiroquai - All of his albums.

Also Orbital, The Orb, Pink Floyd, Portishead, The Corrs and other various more or less obscure danish bands and artists.

the new stones remasters >>>

beggars' banquet-this one benefits the most from the remastering by ludwig, et al...

let it bleed-the BEST rock album EVER has never sounded as good...

get yer ya-ya's out-sounds as good > better than the stuff on Criterion's "Gimme Shelter" (which is from the same tapes)

aftermath (UK)-the Beatles were singing "She Loves You" and the stones were doing this (need I say more?).The UK release has "Mother's Little Helper"...

btw-I don't have an SACD player (yet)-I am just listening to the the redbook content I ripped, and then compressed with .flac (and tagged with tag)...

Now, if DSOTM would only get the same treatment, eh Roberto? ;-)

David Byrne - The Great Intoxication - AAC

Some tracks from Van Halen's album 1984. God was that awsome CD. I regret that I can only experience the joy decades after I was born. It's to bad. The guitar riffs on Hot For Teacher are out of this world. For you muscians out there I don't think I know any guitarist to date who can start tapping on the A string and work there way down to the High E string in a matter of seconds. His solo's are the best. Especially, in Beat It!. B)

Ever heard any Sean Lane, Ron Thal, or Buckethead?

3 of the fastest and most technical shredders on the planet. Literally virtuoso caliber, Lane especially. If you want to hear some really amazing stuff you should check them out.
petracci
Shawn Lane, that is...

BTW, I saw the reference to Bernd Steidl...where did you get that record? I've been tryin' for ages to get it from the Mike Varney label...bit it seems to be out of print...

O yeah, and Frank Gambale, Greg How, Stephen Ross, Rusty Cooley and gool ol Allan Holdsworth...
